Also, this is my first go at turning a photoshoot into a full multimedia gallery here. Ever since the very first time I posted a photo on Instagram, I’ve always felt as though it’s a restrictive media that, even at it’s best, requires creative compromises. The mere fact that you can’t share vertical 2:3 images is just the tip of the iceberg for my frustrations. In hopes of being able to share more complete, wholistic works, I intend to create more galleries like this one, where I can expand upon the images with more than a square frame and short caption. I often create illustrations, designs, and writings in the process of creating an image and I can show more of that here! I hope you’ll continue to escape the black hole to come visit these online galleries.
